When I first developed the newport brokerage boat show website, I had to take into consideration a lot of different factors. The layout, design and color scheme have all been important considerations. One of the most important factors, however, has been functionality.

The navigation on the website is marked by a ribbon across the top center of the site, with options such as homepage, sponsors, about, yachts at the show and shipyard. But when the site was being developed, one of the major considerations is how the site would work on mobile devices.

In order to make the site easily navigable and readable on various web browsers and devices, we considered how users would find the site when they are on the go.

The navigation ribbon is clearly labeled and easy to find on.
